RAF Cranwell museum to close for three months for revamp

Cranwell Aviation Heritage Museum, near Sleaford, Lincolnshire, will shut its doors on 1 December for three months. Work will include a refresh of the site, including the layout and exhibition areas, cafe and shop, North Kesteven District Council said. The museum is also looking to recruit more volunteers for when it reopens in the spring. The centre opened in 1992 and charts the history of the nearby Royal Air Force college, which trains officers. Workers abused in Aberdeen while removing flags for Christmas lights

Sir Alex Ferguson launches new university scholarship scheme
